I have two kids, a 2yr old and a 10 mos. old, my cycles have always been 28 days up until I had my second child. Then my cycles changed to averaging 40-42 days...for the last 8 or so months. I'm currently experiencing some type of bleeding and I'm only on day 30(Feb.23rd) of my cycle. My husband and I had unprotected sex the 14th,16th,and 22nd of Feb. which is the week I'm ovualting. The spotting started on the 22nd and got heavier on 23rd in the A.M. but lighter again in P.M. then 24th light still. I was wondering if this could be implantation bleeding or what?
Update: Today is Sat. Feb. 25th and I waok up and the bleeding has slowed way way down...no cramping or anything. And I was wrong I didnt start spotting on the 22nd ..it was the 23rd. So it lasted for 2 days..hmmm someone help pls.

It could be implantation bleeding..I would suggest taking a home pregnancy test in a week or so just to see..If it is neg and you still think that you are or have missed a period then restest again.....Hope this helps...

I had a similar situation with my pregnancy. My first & only so far...I found out I was pregnant on a Sun. w/ home test, confirmed at a Dr's on Tues. Wed, I noticed a brownish spotting after a shower. I told my husband, and waited a little bit. It seemed to get thicker, but still brown, like dried blood. We decided to go to the ER, since it was early evening, and our DR's office was closed.
They checked me out, stated that my cervix was closed, but they diagnosed it as a threatened miscarriage. I was put on bedrest for the next week, and was told to prepare for a miscarriage. If after a week with no more spotting, they said that I would be ok to go out again, but take the rest of the pregnancy VERY carefully.
Thinking the worst, we went home very depressed. I followed the DR's orders, quit my job after the week, rested & ate right the entire time. 42 weeks later our daughter was born, healthy! Yes, I said 42...she was 2 weeks late!
My advice would be to see a doctor as soon as you can. Get the diagnosis. It's best to know.
Even if I would have lost the baby, knowing that I did all I could would have at least given me some peace. I hope to never go through that & my heart goes out to every woman who has ever lost a child.

I still have not started me period yet and have taken two test both were neg...but then again with my last two they didnt show up until i was 2 1/2 to 3 weeks late. I have been feeling sick, slight headaches,tender breast, for the last two weeks now. I'm going on four days late now and still nothing. What do you guys think?

If your last one didnt show up till you was 2 to 3 weeks late and you really think that you are pregnant, I would wait it out and take another one then...If your not at the time of your next period then I would suggest going to the doctor and getting a check up....It may be something else....

Last night I ha slight discomfort in my lower stomach. It felt really heavy like...and I got very a light dizzy spell and sick. I was really tired so I went to bed early on the couch. I'm hoping that if I am pregant that this doesnt last long. I also noticed an increase in my vaginal mucus...it was thicker and slightly yeallow in color.
Does the mucus get a yellow color like that when your pregnant? I cant remember if it did that with my last two.

A yellow dischage could be a type of infection...I would definetly go to the doc and get this checked out....These syptoms may get worse if the infection is causing this and not the pregnancy...Good Luck

Well it was a false alarm. I was two weeks late as of thursday but I started this morning whenever I got up. It is exactly 28 days form whenever I thought that other was implantation. Maybe my cycles are returning to the normal 28 days. I hope so it would be nice. Thanks for all your advice.
