You say you believe anything is possible and nothing is 100% so I have to say don't rule out someone in the relationship being unfaithful. If he was tested previously and negative as well then to me that's a pretty big sign that one of the two of you were unfaithful. Though I do hope that it's just human error.

Hi I learned today I am positive for Chlamydia and this is why im here. Couple of months ago before this I tested negative from a follow up from a test that said i was positive for Chlamydia after taking antibiotics. I am confused because since my follow up that showed i was negative, months later i am positive and Ive had no sexual activity w anyone after taking the medication given to me at the sexual health clinic. I knew i may still have the bacteria cause my internal anus is itching - itchiness is a sympotms. I am a gay man btw: anyways possible that the meds didnt completely eliminate the bacteria and i got a false negative reading after taking the meds?

I am currently in this EXACT situation. I had it YEARS ago, treated and have tested negative for years, now I am pregnant with twins and tested positive. My husband swears his innocence. I want so bad to believe him, but this may be the demise to our marriage.
