i went to the gynie, they told me that i have chlamydia, so i got it treated, then i had unprotected sex with the same person who gave it to me the first time (my boyfriend) then i got treated again, got it back and once more got treated then got it back...because i had unprotected sex with him, and he has never been treated for it. I went back to the hospital to tell them i have it back because i have the symptoms of it, and i wanted to get it treated and this time i took him with me, so i wouldn't get it back, they told me that when i went to the hospital last time, that my test came back negative, but how can i be negative for it, if i had unprotected sex with the person who gave it to me, and they were never treated for it? & i have all the symptoms of chlamydia, i've had it like 3-4 times within 5 months , i know the symptoms. and for them to tell me i don't have it i don't know whats wrong, and they won't treat me because theyre saying i don't have it. if i didn't have it why would i have the symptoms of it? PLEASE HELP ME. can they test be wrong? and i do have it, it's just not showing up somehow? PLEASEEEEEE HELP

Just like when someone has a cold, you may not always "catch" chlamydia every time you have sex.  Maybe there was a problem with the test.  There could be a number of reasons.

Now stop having sex with your boyfriend until he gets treated.  It's not "good" for either of your bodies.  It can cause damage to your reproductive tract, scarring, and may lead to fertility problems.

If you're in doubt, get tested again. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Tests aren't infallible. Nothing is.

Hope it helps.
