for the past month or so i have been experiencing pain such as burning and itchiness down by my vaginal "lips" and i am only 13 and have never had sex. its also swollen but i don't know what it is from. i asked my mom to take me to the doctor but she hasnt yet. oh, and i haven't started my period yet. sometime when i wipe i find little spots of blood and we thought it was my period but it wasnt. i have type 1 diabetes if that has to do with anything so i hope someone can tell me what the heck is going on!!!

Your symptoms sound pretty distressing. A doctor visit would be a good idea to check that all is well, particularly considering you have type 1 diabetes. At the very least a professional check would reassure you once you know exactly what's going on.
