For the last month or so, I've had itching in my genitals, anus, and my inner thigh where my thigh meets my vulva. When it intially started, I had an STD test and it came back negative. I've been with the same partner for 2 years in a monogamous relationship, so I do not believe it's an STD.
I do not have any change in discharge, it's the same as it always is. I do not notice a rash or bumps. I do shave my pubic hair, but I have taken a brief hiatus due to the itching. I've noticed sweat has been getting caught between my vulva and my inner thigh, and I've tried to take proper measures to prevent it. I've been using baby powder, which helps somewhat. I've changed bodywashes recently to a hypoallergenic one thinking maybe that was irritating me. I've been using the same laundry detergent for quite some time now, so I don't think it's that. I usually wipe front to back when I pass urine and stool, and I was using special unscented wipes so make sure I clean myself well. When the itching is unbearable, I use hydrocortisone on my inner thigh and Vagisil wipes on my genitalia to get a little relief.
I have no pain during intercourse or masturbation, it's just a little itchy and a little irritated. Along with the powder, I've tried 'air drying' myself before putting clothes on so moisture isn't trapped against my skin. I have a latex allergy and am looking into buying new underwear without the elastic, so I have not been wearing underwear lately; it has made the skin on my inner thighs split and crack open before, and I definately don't want that.
Has anyone had anything similar, any similar symptoms? I'm thinking this is maybe a yeast infection, as I had surgery at the end of July. I was on antibiotics for about 2 weeks and I have been on Percocet and Phenargen for pain/nausea respectively since then. However, I don't remember my yeast infections itching quite this bad before. If it doesn't improve by the end of the week, I'll be in to see my primary care physician again.
Any advice and tips to help treat/reduce my itching would be so very welcome. Please help me!

Here is a guess--if you do happen to sweat or produce a little extra lubricant, that can actually cause itching. I had a friend who this happened to. She gets a little too wet, and when she does leak, the liquid evaporates and it causes itching. Does that make any sense?
