Hi, guys. My girlfriend got pregnant. It would be great news if she hadn’t a disease called kawasaki disease. I must admit that many people haven’t heard about it. I was wondering what we shall do with this. Can we keep a baby? I would really appreciate to hear what you think.

Hi, there. Kawasaki syndrome is a serious condition. Its main feature is acute vasculitis. I don’t know if the disease itself is an obstacle for pregnancy. However, you should also think about the medications your girlfriend takes. They are not harmless for foetus. However, if your girlfriend is in a remission, maybe she can give birth. This is very complex question. I recommend you a thorough consulting with the experts in this area. Good luck!
