Hi all. I’m afraid I’ve got to tell you that I’m a hell of a snorer. That is really huuuge problem for me and I’ve finally decided to fix it once and for all... But, now I have a dilemma – what is the best treatment?? I’ve heard for many treatments but the one I’m currently the most interested in is the lazer procedure... Can anybody here tell me is it any good?? Should I take it?? What does it look like??

I think that laser procedure is good choice. The whole procedure takes about 30 minutes. They first anaesthetize the uvula and surrounding soft palate and then remove vibrating tissue with a hand held laser. They take care not to remove any soft palate muscle and, therefore, chances of regurgitation of food and changes in the voice should be minimal. There could be some throat discomfort associated with the laser surgery but it varies from individual to individual. I haven’t had it myself, but If I was to choose, that would be my choice. Best of luck!!!
