I am on a trip and I am pregnant. I am in pain, which seem to be worse every day. Since I am in foreign country and I have no trust in their doctors, beside I do not know their language, I must ask you. I have with me Lodine and Vicodin. Which one I should use? And this pain is not from my pregnancy, I just hurt my leg.
None of those medications are not suppose to be used during pregnancy. Lodine can be used only in the beginning, the first trimester. Vicodine on the other hand is not supposed to be used during, before or after pregnancy. Maybe you should try with putting ice to your leg and easy pain that way. Why would you put on risk yours and yours baby's health?

my sister was prescribed vicodin throughout her entire pregnancy due to a car accident she was in when she was a teenager. the doctor said vicodin is the ONLY pain med a pregnant woman needs to be taking. she did just fine throughout her entire pregnancy and my niece is the happiest, healthiest 3 year old i have ever met, she has had absolutely no medical issues other than the common cold.
