After not having a period for a year while taking LoLoestrin I started to do further research then just taking my doctors advice about it being okay to not have a period for that long. In the mean time I switched jobs and started working at a hormone replacement facility where I was well informed that LoLoestrin birth control is the worest kind to take for a young adult. It gets you'd levels so low.. I was constantly exhausted, had a low sex drive, low skin quality and at 25 year-old that is NOT normal. My poor husband.. Now on Ocella and all my symptoms have reversed. My boonies are firm, yay! I feel much better however, I am about to start my last week/blanks of BC and I have doubled over in abdominal pain. I have rarely had cramps and when I do I run them off but these are so bad I can't stand up or lay down and find a comfortable position. Is this because I haven't had a period in so long? I am very active and am not overweight and again have rarely had issues even when I did have a period. What is going on?
