Hello, I had 2 major surgeries within the last 6 months and have been taking Loratab 5s for the last 5 months. I average about 5 a day of those. I am ready to stop taking them, but plan to taper not stop CT. I am a teacher and cannot take off to do this. Any words of advise? Will I still experience withdrawal if I taper? Do you have any idea how long it will last if so??
Really the rate at which you taper off is ultimately up to you & what you will experience is subjective to your own biochemistry.
Why not just -1 pill off your average right away and see how it effects you.
if it is the case that you are feeling uncomfortable while tapering off, there are a number of vitamins/amino-acids/supplements you can take to promote a little extra chemical balance during the processes.
