Hi, I'm 26 and I have a lump im left hand (I'm right handed) wedding finder palm side at the joint. It's starting to ache especially when I touch it it aches my whole finger. What could this be?

Ive go a doctors appointment soon but as I don't have 100% faith in gps I would like a 2nd opinion.
