Lumps could be indicating swollen lymph nodes and swollen lymph nodes could be indicating generalized or localized infection. If the lump has been present for over a month, you should report it to your GP and possibly get it evaluated.
A lump in the abdomen could be indicating hernia, a condition in which an organ protrudes through the weak abdominal muscle wall. This lump could usually be put back into its place unless it has been stuck with the bowels. However, these lumps usually cause some discomfort if not pain at least upon exertion, coughing and sneezing.
In my opinion, any lump should be checked. The sooner you realize the problem the more chances of faster recovery.

See a doctor Anthony! Sometimes guessing or making your own diagnosis is not recommended.
