Is there any chance that a hard but completely painless lump on the tricep muscles could be dangerous? I have had it for a few months now, I don't really exercise or anything like that and frankly I have no idea where the lump might have come from. I am not sure whether I should be seeing a doctor about this or not?
Lumps are not always dangerous, and there is a big chance that all you have is a swollen muscle or limpoma, or something else similarly meaningless. If the lump worries you enough to start an online thread about is, I don't see any reason not to drop by your GP's office about it though!
Well, I didn't start the thread because I was worried about the lump as such, I just wondered if anyone perhaps knew what I was talking about, so at least I would know what it is that I have got. As long as the lump is not irritated, or growing, I am sure there is nothing wrong. What is a lipoma, by the way?
I have the same thing. It came when I was doing a lot of sewing. I've had it for five months now. I've no idea what it is.
When responding to a thread like this, please don't answer "I have the same thing." Nobody cares, and you're wasting the readers' time.
I was merely empathising with the person who started the thread and giving the circumstances of how it occured. Turns out it is tendinitis from repetitive strain injury, typing and sewing. Did you have lessons on how to be so rude or are you naturally talented in that way?
Just a lump if fat. You need to cut back on fat consumption and start working out
You must be a truly miserable thing just blurt out a rude reply like that.
I've a lump on my trisep and it pain me some time..I'm worried star
True very rude
If she is wanting to let someone know she has the same thing going on but doesn't know what it is. I think that is a good reason to post her comment. Moreover, someone may have been reading this because they too have a lump in the same area but got it in a different way. So this shows that there may be other causes and someone may be able to answer all of their questions. So I guess you need more education on what blogs and forums are used and created for.
I would say your comment is the waste of time...
When reading responses to threads like this, please don't comment on other people's comments as it adds no value to the thread and no one cares about what you think.
You may not care what someone else thinks, but other usually do. These additional insights are very helpful to many of us. BTW, we really don't care what you think about others' opinions so how about you stop giving us your opinion since they just take up space as you've hypocritically indicated?
