I keep getting repeating lumps around my vagina area that are sore. They are under the skin and very sore. I have talked to my gyno about it and she said it was acne but it repeatingly comes back and now I have 2. She told me to wash with dial soap and it still has not worked and I asked the dermatogolists and he gave me acne medicine to put on them but it is not helping. Could it be more serious?

My girlfriend gets these as well. They are some kind of cysts, they tend to become quite big....sometimes to a size of an egg....sometimes they burst after a few days, but sometimes she needs to see a doc for an oral antibiotic as well as antibiotic cream. Then they disappear.....However, always return after some time.
It is a surgeon matter actually. By taking antibiotics you are only masking the problem until it surfaces again.
