Mammogram nightmare! My Mom is 81 and had a mamm one week ago tomorrow. She showed me her breast the next day...OMG! It was bruised 1/4 up her breast around the nipple area...I have never seen anything like it. I took her to the walk in clinic and the female Dr. was very surprised at what she saw, she said you poor thing. Mom is taking warfarin, so the Dr. thought best not to put her on vitamin K, being it would stop her warfarin from working. Stating for her to come back if it worsens. Well, Mom is tired and feeling sick tonight. I will take her back in the morning. The technician who performed her mamm was told by Mom that Mom's right shoulder has been in pain for yrs now, she still tried to get her breast in the machine and when Mom said that hurts too much she stopped immediately, but too late. Wow!! What did I get in the mail a reminder I am due, not a chance this year. Makes me so sad for my Mom....
