I recently had surgery with Dr. Cohen after a referral from my endocrinologist for a suspicious nodule in my thyroid gland. He performed what he called "Minimally Invasive Hemithyroidectomy" by making a 1 and 1/2 inch incision in my neck and taking the left lobe of my thyroid out. I went home later that evening with a little bandaid on my neck, barely any pain and able to talk and eat normally. I was so scared and he made me feel wonderful during the whole process. I have recommended him to everyone. If you live on the west coast he is the guy to see.
