I was just told I have Chlamydia, I was checked last year and was STD free, about 6 months ago I was pregnant. I had a miscarriage. I didnt have any health insurance and Planned Parenthood doesnt deal with prenancys or miscarriages. I am wondering if the chlamydia i got in the last year caused my miscarriages?

Not necessarily no. Miscarriages happen to many women, and usually there is not a known reason.

Thanks for the info. I have one more question, I didnt want the baby, and was thinking about abortion, is it possiable that I made myself have a miscarriage. I was going to keep it but it was just hard for me to see myself with another child, and staying with the drunk that got me pregnant. I DIDNT smoke or drink once I found out, but for the first 3 weeks I was going back and forth on whether or not I could go through an abortion or if I should have the baby.

Hello again!
I doubt that you 'willed' a miscarriage, most likely there were some problems early on in the development, and it simply could not keep living and growing. This is usually what happens, but they cannot learn the reasons so early on.
Did you get to see a doctor after the miscarriage to make sure that everything was all gone?

No I didnt have insurance at the time. Should I mention it when I go to the doctor next time? Could this cause a bacteria infection. I was just treated for this last week. I know I should have probably gone in but at the time I didnt qualify for medical help, and my job didnt offer health insurance and didnt pay enough to get health insurance on my own or pay for my visits.

Dear Wondering,
I have to agree with Carfairy here. No you cannot will yourself to have a miscarriage and there is no guilt for you to have felt the way you did. A lot of women, even those in happy relationships and financially secure, wonder if it is a good time to bring another child into the world.
As for the STD and pregnancy. Gone untreated it can cause pregnancy complications, even more so it can cause infertility.
Whenever you talk to your doctor make sure you give him a complete background on your medical history, do not leave anything out. That is the only way he can properly treat you.

Mioscarriages that are not seen in the ER or by a doc, can leave tissue behind which can cause massive infections.
You need to somehow get to a doc.
