Hi, I have a boyfriend but I'm not having sex. I have polycystic ovaries but I am normally quite regular with my periods, which are quite heavy and last about 5 or 6 days. However, this month my period was extremely light, more like spotting, and lasted only about 3 days, maybe 4. I'm not sure if it was a peiod at all.

Is this my hormones, my health, or could I be pregnant very unluckily from fumbling about with my boyfriend? Help!

pcos can cause changes in your menstrual cycle. as long as you didn't come in direct contact (sperm/vagina) with your boyfriend you can rule out pregnancy. also, if you just started or stopped or even changed birth control it can cause changes in periods. good luck!
