Hi, I am 22 years old male and I am training volleyball for 10 years already. Till now I didn't have any serious injury. On the last training I have tried to block one ball which was very high and I felt pain in my abdominal muscles. It was very strong pain so I was replaced by other player. I would like to know what did happen and what would I do.

Hi, from all these facts you have mentioned it looks like you have strained your abdominal muscle. You would take few days rest and after that you may start with physical therapy which will doctor prescribe to you. Also you would strengthen your muscles to avoid future possible injuries.Good luck!
