To Radcliffe and all others who post with these kinds of questions - please understand that those writing here are NOT the clinics themselves, or representatives of those clinics. WE HAVE NO SAY in where the clinics are, or where they choose to open them, etc.

 

We are customers or former customers who are writing about our experiences here in the case it can help others.

Sorry, but why is it that everybody keep saying that those doctors DON'T speak English, they do, mine did, she spoke very good English and explained me everything she did

I am referring to the additional doctors that they would have to bring in from China should they decide to expand their operations in the U.S. and elsewhere.

Like I already said, they are trying to open a clinic in the USA, it is or the government will give permission or not, the USA don't believe as much in herbal treatment, they have a big pharmacy business here and nobody ask or that is healthy, they like to do surgeries here and a surgery for hemorrhoid is not without risk either. Anyway, don't judge the Chen family, they do have license and they do care and they want you to tell them or you have allergies, it is your own responsibility or you tell them or you are allergic or not to some things. I had a bad allergic reaction on medicines here in this country, every body is different and the doctors in Canada treat everybody different, Doctor Chen is the owner from the Vancouver clinic and her brother is the owner from the Toronto clinic, those people deserve respect and no judgement

Does anyone have the phone number to the Vancouver clinic? Their website is strangely no longer working (unsure about email but have had no responses in a long time) and while their contact used to be listed on the Toronto website, it is no longer there. Thank you!

we should start a new trail of messages. The title of this one: "My hemorrhoid cure...No surgery, no pain, no scarring" is misleading. Most of the people I have talked to at the clinic have been in significant pain. Including myself. Some a few days, some almost a week. There is one guy who missed almost a full week of work due to the treatment. If you don't need acupuncture and "strong medicine' .... (Whatever that means).... you won't experience pain. As for scarring .... I have ended up with a small skin tag ....again, the clinic told me I that will it probably never go away.

I think the terms are relative. The pain I felt during the treatment was minor compared to the pain I experience during examinations and minor procedures performed by the Western docs. I was in living hell and in daily fear of the next BIG bowel movement. I think the issue here is one of perspective. I suffered miserably for 8 of the 12 years that I had my condition. However, if you are a person that is at the beginning of the journey then I can see how you might think the title is misleading. If you have a hemorrhoid and have it treated the western way you will need to find a new word for pain during the lengthy recuperation. You will have scarring and it will come back so that you can go through the pain+more pain cycle all over again. There are newbies reading these posts and they are probably concluding that the western approach is the better way. If any of you do decide to take the Western approach then please come back to this site and let us know how it went. Newbies should hear both sides. Finally, nobody on this planet is God and that includes the Chen although in my book the get pretty close. There are going to be situations where they cannot help someone. That's just the way life is. I feel sorry for that small group of people that have not been completely cured for whatever reason. However, when you weigh the pros against the cons and do the same for Western medicine then you will see the humungous gap in plain site. I can confidently speak from experience and I was treated by a world famous colerectal group in Toronto. I've personally experienced the best of both worlds.

I so do agree with you, My pain was minor also, compare to the hemorrhoid I have suffered from, the pain during the treatment was nothing.
I spoke with people who did the western way of getting rid of the hemorrhoid and they were in a severe pain for many weeks and one friend of mine had her hems back in 6 months.
The hem surgeries are real bad but if somebody want to do it, please do but like you said here, please let us know here how it went.
i had mine hems for 38 years, not to bad until 2 years ago, I was in bad pain every single day, the last months I couldn't do anything anymore, not sit, not walk, nothing, now I have my life back, my treatment started at February 28 and two weeks later I was back in the US, I am very grateful for the Chen family

I am completely cured courtesy of the Chens. I follow this forum to remind me to be grateful for a solution to a problem that I thought I would die with. I also stick around to help others because I truly believe we all need to "pay it forward" to the next guy. There was a post a while back made by a GUEST that was very strange. It basically said that the Chens destroyed or made him much worse. When I asked Dr. Chen about this he said that this has NEVER happened and that when he checked the timing and dates he said that there was no such person. He also told me that there was a competing clinic in the Toronto area that was trying to ride on their coattails without the skills or access to the specialized compounds that have made the Chens famous. It's a very dangerous world and people need to be vigilant at every turn.

what do you mean you have experienced the best of both worlds. did you see proctologists before you went to NATCM. did you ever follow up with an MD after your treatment at NATCM

The Guest that wrote about his negative experience had gone to the Vancouver clinic, not the one here in Toronto... also the experiences described don't seem to be those of a competing clinic, as this kind of result would turn people off the whole TCM thing, not make them go to another TCM clinic.

I have absolutely no idea about the veracity of what the Guest posted but just wanted to point this out. I think it could be possible for some people to have negative experiences with the treatment - as you said, it's treatment that depends on the body to heal itself, and there could be lots of reasons that that does not happen for some people. The Chens themselves acknowledge they cannot help some people. But so far from what we have seen on this blog at least it seems to help more people than not.

It would be interesting to find out what really happened with that Guest - and if things went that badly at the Vancouver clinic, for that clinic to be willing to reveal that and discuss it.

Personally as I have posted before I have had good results, so I"m happy, though I am not 100% pain free - but I am still a lot better than I was, and I believe it was a much better treatment course than surgery would have ever been.

Thank you for the update. The docs at the two clinics are brother and sister so they are in regular contact. Toronto Chen check both locations for a situation that was as severe as reported in an earlier post. Nothing remotely close. Unfortunately, there is a lot of professional jealousy even in natural medicine. A quick note on expectations. If some of the people on this forum would apply to Western medicine just one tenth of what they routinely expect from natural medicine then they will find that Western medicine falls horrible short of even the mildest of health goals. All of my health solutions have come from the natural side of the equation. My biggest worry with Western medicine is the real risk of the docs doing more harm than good.

Hi Everybody, I dont know how to reply as I did earlier but I am the fellow who had the bad experience at the Vancouver clinic.

First My experience wasn't "bad" per say, it just didnt work for me and could have been a much better experience either way and the lack of info and cooperation after is what has me extremely frustrated.

I have contacted Dr Chen at the Vancouver clinic and asked for info on wht the "Medicine" was and she tried telling me i was not given an injection and the needle was only used as an instrument.  Well I call BS as I was there and he even showed it to me after.  I asked her to send me any and all iinfo on the "medicine" and creams and any procedure done and this is what I was emailed after a week of calling

 

For the mixed hemorrhoids, we use our secret recipe“Ba Zhi San” to shrink it, and causes the hemorrhoids fall off. The herbal cream such as copies chinensis, Radix Scutellariae, cortex phellodendri chinensis, bulbus fritillariae cirrhosae reduce inflammation. For the fissure, we use herbal cream such as pearl, amber, fossilizid, and calculus bovis help the fissure to be closed. 

 

Go ahead try and do your own research on it, it is almost futile!

 

I am now faced with surgery next wednsday and have no info to give the surgeon.  How is this working with your patient and providing the best possible care?   Please tell me.

People be very carefull, it may work for 50% or 90% of the people but what does it do to those it Doesnt work on?

What if you are one of those?

In your previous post, unless there is another one out there, it sounded like they made things a lot worse. You tried and it did not work for you. Unfortunately, these things happen. I have mild fibromyalgia like symptoms and I have been bouncing around to different docs, mostly natural but some Western but with no luck. I don't automatically fault the docs because they do not have control of all the variables. When something does not work for me I keep trying and look for another solution. They only guarantee is doing nothing and getting nothing. By the way, 50% success rate by Western standards is considered incredible; 90%+ is virtually unheard of. Of all the people I have referred I only know of two people that have been helped by the Chens but not completely cured as I was. Before your put your life in the hands of the Western Medical Monkeys I would go back to the Chens and push them for a solution. You want to reach a point where they tell you that they have done their absolute best and there is nothing more to do. The good thing about their treatment is they keep working at it at the same quoted price. This pretty much eliminates the fear of them wasting your time for the sake of profit. Try getting the same commitment from the Western docs. They more they fail, the more profit they make Good Luck.
