I wish I have some brighter theme for writing but I have to get some info about uveal melanoma treatment. My husband will have to go for enucleation because of his condition and I would like some info about it. Will it help him? What are the alternatives? Are those better than enucleation? Please, help me with some answers…

Well, as far as I know, enucleation was the first effective treatment for this condition and stayed on that position until the new methods have risen. Those include charged particle radiotherapy, thermotherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, cluding plaque brachytherapy and if needed, local resection. There are also rumors about some new, still untested methods, but that is yet to be verified.
