I am only 17 and have all these aches and joint problems. It started in my knees as tendonitis and I was given an anti inflamitory medicine. Then I was told I had tendonitis in my wrists as well. Every morning I wake up sore and literally hobble around. Like I am an 85 year old women. Why is this happening??! I eat healthy and exercise regularly but the pain is keeping me from even walking.

Move out of wherever you live for at least 3 weeks and see if you find the pain lessens. If it does, than you probably have an unseen mold problem. The place doesn't have to smell in order for the environment to cause problems for your health. I found this out the hard way. I hurt all over, but mostly my legs and had to get a disabled tag for my car. No doctors had any idea and one said that it certainly wasn't mold. If you can move to somebody else's house for a few weeks, it's an easy diagnosis. Just make sure you don't go back home in those three weeks and don't hang around with people that have stayed there because it is absorbed by their clothes and will give you a reaction.

I should also mention that your pain won't completely disappear in 3 weeks. It took me a month to feel much better. It's now been 4 months and I feel that it's a miracle that I feel good again. I was checked for lyme and it came back negative and nobody could figure it out. The symptoms were almost the same as with lyme. I still can't believe the doctors in 2012 don't know how bad and to what extent mold can cause problems.

Wow... I feel you may absolutely be right.... My wife and I used to own our own home and I was perfectly fine... Then we decided to flip the house to save a little more to move to a more expensive area where my parents live because it is closer to our work. When we moved in with my parents I noticed that I was getting vertigo feeling then it turned out to be soar muscles and then it turned out too be muscle aches and pains etc... When to several different hospitals and all tests come back normal... I have appoints pending with Dermatologists and Rheumatologists... Then my wife decided that babe maybe you need a vacation so we booked and went to Jamaica.. I kid you not we booked on a Thursday and flew out on Saturday to Montego Bay... We spent a whole week there and my wife was shocked that during that whole week I was perfectly fine... I was able to go to the disco and dance and be normal... When we landed back here in Toronto and go home Within about 40 minutes the pain came back... I have spoken with my parents regarding this but they do not believe... So my wife and I are planning to go somewhere else and see if the same thing occurs else where here...

Growing pains are not real. Anyone experiencing pain should seek medical attention and find a real diagnosis

I am sure that mold is a huge problem in the whole country.  Since only one specialty doctor on the east coast had a clue, I fear that most of America is fed the pain numbing drugs (read anti-depresents) to relieve their pain.  The doctors didn't know what to think.  I also told the doctors I felt like a 70 year old man.  I was so sore and stiff in the morning I had to dance around in the shower to get rid of the pain and loosen up.  It also effected my head making me depressed.  It was amazing that I was the only one who came up with the idea that it was in the air that I breathed.  Once knowing this, I knew to stay out of the affected area.  Some people can be really effected by this and others not notice.  I know that three people in the place I worked said they didn't have any issues with the place....but all three of their spouses had very similar symptoms.  That has got to say something.  When you do move out, make sure to wash all of your clothes, coats, or anything porous that you take with you.  Throw out your pillows, comforters and other things that can't be washed.  The may be little to no mold spores present in the air, but the spores can be eating the drywall and be inside the wall.  When they die off and rejuvenate, the create the toxin gas that gets into the air you breathe causing these symptoms.

you are not alone. I have had similar symptoms since age 17. Im now 43. Ive been to so many doctors I cant even count them all, Finally 5 years ago a dr finally took me serious, and diagnosed me with ankylosing spondylitis. My tailbone and neck in particular are just so painful, much of the time. Upon occasion my tendons do also flare up in my elbow and ankle areas, which as you know can almost be debilitating at times. Ive beenblessed in the more recent years to have a team of drs who have treated my illness aggressively, which although it hasnt eliminated my symptoms, it has stopped the progression and stoped further damage. What I found so unsettling about my symptoms is that it cound be something as tiny as my pinky to just give me agony for a few weeks, and then vanish....to be followed randomly a month or so later in my elbow. Its crazy, and frustrating because I always somehow think I am cured...until the next flare. Hang in there, you are not alone. You might also ask to have your iron and vitamin D checked.

I am 31 yrs old and have been dealing with these same issues (sore, tight muscles and joints, constant fatigue, tendon problems, and headaches).  I have changed Drs 3 times in the past 8 yrs, most recently, 2 months ago.  The new Dr. laughed at me when describing my symtoms and asked "how old are u?"  I feel like my body is 30 yrs older than it is and is about to give out on me.  There is no hope for these issues, the more rest I get, the worse I feel.  Most Drs. are idiots.

Yes, it's true that most doctors don't know about the effects that mold can have. Do yourself a favor and get out of wherever you've been for the past 8 yrs. Go on vacation for two weeks and be sure to wash your clothes before you take them into the hotel. Take a shower first thing and make sure you wash your hair especially. The whole idea is that the toxin attaches itself to clothing and skin just like perfume/smoke. Think of the toxin getting in everything you own...it would be the same if you left all your clothes in a room that everyone smoked in if you were sensitive to smoke.
At the end of two weeks....you might not think you feel any better, but then take notice of your symptoms after you return and see if you don't feel a difference. If you take your car, make sure someone details the inside after you get clean and get your clothes clean.

I am 35 and I wake up in the middle of the night- aching - in pain- body hurts all the time.....do I have fibromyalga?

Did you read the rest of this thread? Most of the time doctors use Fibromyalgia as a cop out and say that's what you have when, in fact, they don't know what it even is. You most likely suffer from mold toxin poisoning. Figure out how long your body has hurt all the time and match it up to a place that you spend most of that time. Example: your body has hurt for 2 years ever since you took your new job. I would guess there was mold in your work place. Or maybe since you moved into your apartment. Definitely a lot of mold in many apartments. It's also interesting to note that you might not be able to see a lot of mold spores even though the neurotoxins are getting into the air you breathe. Take a vacation for 2 weeks and rent a nice hotel room or try visiting a family member or friend. But go for two weeks because it will take that long for you to feel the difference when you return to the infected area. Most likely the symptoms will retreat so slowly that your body will adjust and you won't notice that you're better. But, after you return, the toxins will adjust your body back to pain quickly and that's when you'll notice.
