what is the method?

There are several things that can cause this.
1. The pudendal nerve which supplies sensation to the penis and posterior scrotum and perineum leaves the sacrum at S2,3,4. It can get trapped in the following locations.
Between the scar-spinous and sacro-tuberous ligaments.
In the fascia between the above ligaments and the pudendal (Alcock's) canal. In Alcock's canal and more recently it has been suggested that it can also be tethered under the pubis.
If you have a large central disc prolapse at L5 or even L4 it may affect the cause equina. If it is seen to touch the S2 nerve root in an MRI when laying supine, it is likely that it would affect it a great deal more when standing.
Do yo have any problems with weak ejaculatory force, as this can also be affected by the pudendal nerve as about 30% of fibres are motor to the muscles that expel the semen?

Have you tried antibiotics for bacteria because simple bacteria infections can eventually numb the nerves and cause more and more numbness

It's just because of low or low normal testosterone.

6 months ago I started i woke up to more than 50% sensation loss and its steadily gotten worse since. I had an mri and doctor found an abnormality in my lower spine but doesnt believe it is causing my problem. I have seen 3 urologists and none were able to help or cared to continue trying. Neurologist wants to continue trying thankfully.

Currently, the tip is near totally numb and I cant feel an ice cube on it. I can feel it on my shaft, but it is desensitized more than 50% still. I have a curve and I dont know if its the reason for all this, or if I damaged it somehow. I have no answers after all this time. First 2 months I had total erectile dysfunction and loss of libido, but it came back and I dont have problems achieving one anymore. I had orgasms randomly in these past months while sleeping and sometimes leaking a lot of it while going to the bathroom (both ways).

A few days ago, what little I had left in the tip went away and now its almost totally numb, except that if I use a lubricant and rub gently, I can sense and feel that typical painful tingle men have when stimulating only the tip, but it is still severely desensitized and doesnt seem to get better.

Had gone an weeks to an entire month without touching it and without orgasm and it never got better. I immediately started taking b12 when this starts and it seems if I take a 1000mg tablet that I will get tingle sensations for that day until later at night when it will go away. Happens almost each time.

I changed my deity, lost 45lbs since this started, saw urologists and neurologists and am unable to see any improvement. Im scared.

Same story as others.
But I have had severe ED for a very long time and very little libido.
ED has been getting worse along with libido and penile numbness too.
My penis is like feeling the back of my hand.

This might be due to the prone masturbation I did for a long time. But I am not sure if that is the only cause as I guess numbness can be affected by other things too.

I plan on abstaining from masturbation for a very long time. There are a lot of anectodes on nofap about how people regained their sensitivity from abstaining. But I'm not very optimistic about it.

Other than that I will use penile creams.

This is my first post. I'm on the same boat most of you guys. Except I'm able to pinpoint the moment it happened. I went to a chiropractor for pain between my shoulder blades, he adjusted my entire back, popped every vertebrae. After this my libido went through the roof, my sensitivity with it. Everything felt amazing. He told me not to pop my back myself but I didn't listen. A few weeks after seeing him my back felt like it needed to pop so I lifted myself up out of my chair with my arms and kinda bounced from my arms as I held myself up and POP POP... It felt good, was happy with myself for a few seconds until I noticed a tightness in my penis and immediately grabbed it to make sure things were ok, they weren't. The glans, tip, of my penis which were normally sensitive could hardly feel anything. I couldn't get an erection, I could hardly feel pain when I pinched it. I immediately went to a different chiropractor, because I wasn't near the one I had seen initially, and he popped my lower back in several places and it fixed it! Few weeks later I bent over to grab something and pop, problems back. Went back and he didn't do the same pop, did nothing, didn't help, he was trying to milk it... Never went back. Went back to the first one and he fixed it again... Also short lived, the initial visits I believe made my back hypermobile. Easy to pop out of place. It's been two years and I'm still dealing with this issue. I should have never gone to a chiropractor. I don't have any pain, but I know my back is the problem. Sometimes I can pop it just right and feeling comes back only to slowly fade. My testicles feel cold, and often times so does my penis. I'm able to get an erection but only through mental arousal, I can ejaculate but it takes a lot of work and focus. Ejaculation still feels kinda good, but not the best. I notice that after I ejaculate my tip can feel the hypersensitivity of pleasure for a few seconds afterward. Other than that I can hardly feel my tip at all. Light touch I feel nothing. Oral used to make me ejaculate almost immediately but now it's hard to even stay erect while receiving, hardly feel anything.

From all the research I've done, it seems my problem is tight/inflammed muscles along my vertebrae, which I can feel. I think the popping of my back has enflamed them and the chiropractors adjustment that make it feel better are merely stretching them which gives temporary regain of sensitivity but ultimately makes it worse. At the L1//L2 I can feel hard knots on both sides of my spine, this is where the genitofemoral nerve runs. Also knots at my l4/L5 where another genital related nerve runs. These I believe are caused by tight hip flexors, which run from the inner thigh to the lower back. I believe my issue is being caused by tight muscles compressing nerves in these areas. I don't feel numb but I hardly feel pleasure or light touch. I can feel pain when I pinch, but even that feels dulled. I've got a feeling that a lot of you guys have the same problem not realizing it's being caused by your back/muscles as I have no pain and wouldn't know the cause if I wasn't paying attention when I did it.

Check yourselves for anterior pelvic tilt, which gives you an exagerated lumbar when standing and a pushed out gut. This is caused by really tight hip flexors which is caused from sitting too much. It is my belief that this is the primary cause of my problems because some of the primary genital nerves run THROUGH these muscles, when they are tight they pinch these nerves. Also the piriformis muscle gets tight from anterior tilt and also pinches nerves, it's a domino effect. Run your thumbs real deep along the sides of your lumbar spine and feel for knots, I'm betting some of you will have them. They don't really hurt and you won't notice them unless your feeling for them.

Nowhere on the internet can I find anybody talking about tight muscles along the spine being the issue. Infact the only thing I can find about spine related genital numbness is from cuadia equina syndrome, but I don't have bladder or bowel dysfunction. And I can still feel pain, not complete numbness. Some days out of nowhere I regain pleasure and sensitivity, so I've not given up hope. I am going to be throughly stretching my hip flexors until I reverse my pelvic tilt and will be going in for deep tissue massages for my lower back and butt to release these muscles and hopefully lift the stranglehold they have on my genital nerves roots.

Anyways hope my story helps someone. It is my belief that even the lightest compression of these nerves leads to a host of other issues including chronic pelvic pain and nonbacterial prostatitis.

In case anyone is still trying to figure out their problem, I've solved mine. It ended up being my l5 lumbar vertebrae slipping forward slightly compressing the nerves that apparently run to my genitals. This hardly caused any pain so I imagine it can go unnoticed in most men and even my doctor didn't appear to notice any abnormalities on my x-ray. But after 2 years of having this issue, the issue being practically no sensation in my genitals and a major loss of libido which was driving me absolutely crazy I I figured out that it was my l5, I could feel it by palpating it that it was pushed Inward and it should be more outward than most of my vertebrae. there should be a bone that prevents it from slipping forward but maybe I damaged it I don't know I haven't been able to see a doctor as I don't have any insurance.. anyways I was able to pop it back in place myself, which I don't recommend trying. and when I did I had complete return of all feeling and sensation. my L5 seems to be hypermobile and unstable though because it popped back out of place through the night and like I said it causes no pain and can easily go unnoticed. but again I was able to pop it right back into place and immediate return of all the feeling and Sensation that was gone for 2 years. I figured that I had caused nerve damage after it being compressed for so long but apparently it's only a light compression. I was starting to think it was my prostate because I was able to feel pain just no light touch or any pleasure but again after popping it back into place I had complete hundred percent return of all feeling. I hope this helps someone who is also struggling with this issue. all of our problems are not the same but I'm sure that this has happened to several people and is going undiagnosed.

THANKS!!! THIS ALSO MY PROBLEM, I CAN'T BELIEVE AFTER ALL THIS TIME THATS WHAT IT WAS!! Like you said I didn't have any pain either but could clearly feel my L5 was slipped forward! I absolutely CANNOT thank you enough!!! Unbelievable my problem is FIXED, like 90% feeling back up from almost zero!!! I'm betting after a little time I'll be back to 100%!!! I hope I don't need stablization surgery to make this permanent!!? THANK YOU! Wow it was just today you posted this too! My wife's brother is a chiropractor and I had him pop it for me 10 minutes ago and BOOM healed!! Keep spreading the word! I sure will!

I have been having sensation issues and erection problems for almost 9 years. I have had scans, consults with urology, nuerology, endocrine, spine specialists, consulors, and even now I am working with a sexual specialist.

I have taken many different medicines, plus testosterion, and a spinal injection.  After all of this I can't feeling pleasure from sex or masterbation.  Maintaining an erection even thru masterbation is difficult at times.  I also have delayed ejaculation and anorgasmia ( no orgasm).  I have been brushed off by doctors, treated like my problems were not important, and my 30's are done this year and I haven't made any progress in fixing this or been able to build a life with someone or have children.

I have two pieces of information that might be relevant: 1) When I had the shot in my spine, I felt the cooling medicine as it traveled down my body but didn't effect my groin.  My groin was completely untouched by it.

2) Often when I sit on hard surfaces it makes my penis numb and fall alseep with pins and needles feeling.

Please share an information or opinions you have because I am at a loss.  I am currently on more meds then I have ever been on a one time and its not helping.  Please help
