I have one on my face above my lip like Cindy Crawford and I hate it. I'd like to use oregano essential oil but I wonder if it will hurt. You say it stings but is that the worst it gets? Also how bad will my face look while this process is on-going? I work everyday and don't want people looking at me horrified.

On day 3 here. I did not apply vasaline around mole, thus that area was slightly darkened & irritated by the apple cider vinegar. I will use Vaseline tonight for sure!

Hi all.

I'm going to try castor oil/baking soda method on some flat moles. Since this thread is over 1 year old I would like to ask those people who did this before how are the results after 3-6 months? Is everything fine?

I have removed a raised mole with the vineger however im not sure whether it works on flat ones and also it did cause a dark scab to form before it fell off which might affect whether you want to do it on your face.

For those people who have tried ACV- does this work for flat moles? I went through all 12 pages of this and no one has answered this question, which has been raised several times. Thanks!!

Would this work for a flat mole too?

No. I've put acv on both flat and raised moles and only the raised ones died. Flat moles are basically the same shape as raised ones, it's just that they are much deeper in the skin and we only see the top. Most of the moles is deep within the skin. That's why the only way to remove them is surgery. Some doctors refuse to even laser them or try radiosurgery because those methods can not get deep enough to get the roots out. In those cases the moles simply grow back. The only way to get the roots out is to use a surgeon's knife and it will leave you with a scar. I know your pain because I have a dozen big flat moles on my face :(
