my sons poop is two toned and i cant tell if its very dark brown or black.when i wiped the stool on his diaper it was brown.what can be causing this?

how old is your son?? and im pretty sure its just something he ate..cause i have 2 boys and sometimes there poop would be green... and i asked the doctor and he said it was just something they ate ... so probably nothing to worry about ... :-)
