I recently had an accident and ripped open the side of my foot and little below my foot as well. But thank god it was just the skin. 

I got six stitches immediately and all was well. I got my stitches off day before. 

But, I tried walking on the wound, and it hurts REALLY bad. I just wanted to know if this was normal? Is it supposed to get better with time, or has my wound not healed or is it infected?

Please let me know.
