Hi sorry this is very late but I am 13 and have been throwing up daily for about the last year and a hakf. I have also visited all the doctors and done loads of tests. One thing that did help was they put me on the pill which helped reduce the vomiting. The doctors thought that it was hormones? I had to go of the pill due to other complications so i am still throwing up daily but maybe the pill is worth a try?

Hello, I am going through this same thing with my 13 year old son. He has been hospitalized 3 times for over a week each time. He was once a healthy athletic kid, now he cannot eat anything that stays down. The doctors think he has Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, but they say he should be out of it by now. He had to be put on homebound because he is unable to go to school. Just curious if you are still dealing with this, or if you have had any luck with a diagnosis.

It stopped after trying all different types of medication. Now she's off all the tablets and is a happy 19 year old. Apparently CVS is just one hormone that is off balance with the others and puberty kicks off this horrible vomiting. My daughter was tachecardic when we finally got somebody to listen to us then we had months of her in hospital (at one point they put her on the bullimic ward, which I was really annoyed at because she wanted to eat and food didn't want to stay down !) Then years of seeing her amazing specialist. She even ended up in a wheelchair as she was so weak. Keep going and do alot of research, believe me there is light at the end of the very long tunnel xx

My daughter also was home schooled for a few months. The local authorities sent a lovely lady out and the the school sent work home too. When she did go back she just did half days for a while as she was very lethargic, and she started to build her day up from there. Her school was very understanding and helped us alot. Get a meeting with them and ask your son's consultant along to the meeting to devise a plan of action regarding to his schooling x

Deffo. My daughter lost 2 stone in 2 weeks and you could see every bone in her body. She became malnourished and tachecardic & it wasn't because she didn't want to eat, she was desperate for the food to stay in but it just " fell out " without heaving. You need to get the goodness back into your body xx
