I've had some pain in the left side of my throat recently. It started occurring about 2 weeks ago. It wasn't that my throat was sore, it was just an unpleasant pain. The doctor said my lymph nodes were swollen and gave me a steroid drug, and while taking it, my pain just got worse and worse. It's hard to swallow, and I get an earache a lot too. It feels like the back of my tongue is like cramping up. I looked into my throat tonight and now there are white spots in it. Any ideas what's going on?
