Nadolol is a beta blocker and should not be stopped abruptly to prevent any serious blood pressure rebound effects from occurring.
Wean off it slowly. Start by reducing the dosage by half (break the pill in half and take half one day and half the next). Do this for 7 days. After 7 days, take half a pill every other day for 8 days. Next take half a pill every third day for a 6 days. At that point, you should be able to stop takiing it all together without any detrimental effects.
