okay, me and my boyfriend had sex, he came into the condom and literally 1 minute later, i ran to the bathroom to "flush" the condom, but instead I shoved my finger into the condom and put the sperm deep inside of me. I did this twice, I know sperm dies once it hits oxygen but I had to condom folded... and i did it only a minute after the sperm was produced. This happened 3 days ago, and i took a pregnancy test today which stated I was not pregnant. is that acurate? could i be pregnant? did i check to early? please oh please help me

Hi Confused,

It's too early to test.  You need to wait at least 2, preferably 3, weeks before they become accurate.

There is a chance of pregnancy if sperm got into your vagina.  It would not likely die that quickly.

Good luck.

Question here myself, just looking for some opinions, and you seem to know your stuff !:)

I've always had irregular periods, where they vary a few days. Well, on the 24th of June I had protected sex, but I'm worried the condom may have broken. I wasn't worried until I had what I thought was my period on the 3rd of July. The period was as normal, no problems, no irregular cramps, though it did get really heavy to the point I bled through my tampon on the 5th, ending my period on the 8th. Recently, I'm having an upset stomach though, and noticed I am eating a lot more. I haven't had headaches, and am usually always tired, so that's nothing new, but I am just out of school and with all the free time I've had, I've worked myself into thinking I may be pregnant because of how my stomach feels...anyone else been through this situation? I know taking a test would just be my best option, but I'd like feedback first! :)

Did you expect your period on 3rd July?

9 days before your period is due, on a regular cycle, it would be unlikely you'd get pregnant. The egg would not be viable.

You said you had a normal period. It was definitely not "spotting" so not an indication of a possible pregnancy.

I don't think you're pregnant.

I don't keep an exact cycle, but I know I usually start in the first week of the month, no later, so I expected it within the week! Definitely not spotting, heavier than normal if anything.
