Negative Pregnancy Test but symptoms of Ectopic Pregnancy

Hi, I have been experiencing abdominal pain for just over 2 weeks now. It comes and goes at different times of the day but it has been there at some time every day!! I have taken a hpt today and it was negative. My last period was 16/05/11, but it wasnt the same as usual, mainly clots and I had really bad pains for the whole 2 days (usual period is 3-4 days with pains on the first day and thats it).. Period before that was 18/04/11 which was normal.. Does this sound at all like an ectopic?? Any suggestions as to what it might be would be great.. :-D

I have been experiencing the same thing. I have a 6 and 7 yr old and it's been a while since I have been pregnant. I have been feeling pregnant for about 2 months now but have taken many hpt's and all have negative results. 2 months ago I was 3 days late and last month I was 7 days late and it only lasted 3 days. 4 days ago I started getting some cramping and pain while urinating or moving/getting up too fast. I thought I was getting a bladder infection. Then 2 days ago I started having pressure in my sides (mostly right) between my rib cage and hip...right where kidneys are. I have been extremely fatigued lately, worse in the last couple of weeks. My boyfriend in an EMT and says it sounds like Kidney Stones but he agrees that other than a negative result I seem to have pregnancy symptoms. Extremely moody, dizziness, nausea, weight gain (can't even button my pants anymore!) and about a month ago breast tenderness. He is making me go to the doc tomorrow so I guess I will find out then but this site has brought Ectopic pregnancy symptoms to my attention. Might be something to ask my doc tomorrow. Ladies, seeing your replies made me very worry about my current condition. One month ago, I was in for hospital for a kidney infection due to UTI. Not long after that, I started to have the "I am pregnant" symptoms but all my pregnancy test and ultrasound as of 21 sept came out negative (I was close to 5 weeks late).  My U/S only revealed that i have a 1.1cm corpus luteum. Yet immediately the day after my ultrasound (ie 22sept) my mens came but it was way lighter than usual. I have a feeling that my gynae was expecting my mens to come a week later, and I too, having studied biology, felt weird that my mens came too quickly. UTI test on the 21st sept turns out to be negative. Yet right now, I dont feel well at all (been constantly vomiting, light headache, swollen stomach, fatigue, feel like fainting and light cramping for the past 2 weeks!) The strangest thing is that a few days before i started all these symptoms, I had a sudden sharp pain on my right side (which i have never experience before) during my routine jogging, and that pain went off before all the mild cramping began. Now, I am really worried that I might have a ectopic pregnancy. I am quite certain i dont have Irritable bowel symptoms nor appendicitis. so Going to do my preg and UTI test tml again!!! I hope everyone out here is doing well!

to everyone who thinks they may be having a tubal pregnancy. if this is the case you will no because for one you will be in worse pain then you could ever imagine. i would no because i have had one. i was really dizzy and the pain was so bad i could barley move. and to top that off when you have a tubal pregnancy and your tube bust because of it you better get to a hospital fast because you are bleeding inturnaly you will die. so trust me if your having one youll no because it will be more painful then labor or you'll be dead soon. so if you think your having a tubal pregnancy go to the hospital asap because it could save your life and you'll get to keep the tube the baby is attached to. hope this helps

 

Hi, I have had 3 negative urine tests and I definitely feel pregnant despise those annoying (-) signs. I have been throwing up, cramps, lower back ache ect. If I am pregnant I would be 6 wks today and I'm noticing sharp unbearable pain on my right side and down my right inner thigh.. sometimes my shoulders hurt and im getting scared coming across this. im crossing my fingers that's not the case .. would I have gotton a (+) with this type of pregnancy? pls help.

Hi. I have gone for 2 months now without having my period. I've taken a total of 4 hpts and all came back negative. This past week I gained 6 pounds! I have been craving TONS of sugar and chocolate cravings. Also craving sweet and sour sauce, which I've NEVER liked before. If someone could help me with info it'd be greatly appreciated. I do not believe it's an ectopic pregnancy b/c my dr. said i'd be in ALOT of pain. I just need some answers and can't afford to get an u/s done b/c I have no insurance. Thank you...

My mum has this, I think you need to get the scan. She did those pee stick things and it was negative, but I know she she got a possitive at some point with the blood. She was diginsed by here GP abut 30mins before she would of died and these wonderful doctor saved her life. She was told by another GP it was nothing but my Dad made her to another. She lost the baby, but she is ok now and living perfectly fine. Get more oppions I think, it could save you life. Get a doctor to give you a recondation to get a san maybe? Im sorry I dont know a heap about this, but I know it almost killed me mum, so I would hate it to happen to anyone else. Good Luck. Oh and please don't be really freaked out by this, it could also be nothing. Just at least you know the information :)

hi. I am expriencing the same thing. Last mth menses date was on 17may. Then on 10 june i start to exprience pregnancy symptoms, such as nausea, craving for food, no appetite to smoke(cos ive exprience it before n i had an abortion),etc. Suddenly,on the 13june,my menses came but onky lasted for 2days. Went to the doctor n check urine n blood test, all negatives. The doctor don't even know what was wrong wit me. so now im waiting for 5weeks as of last mth menses date dat is 17may, check my urine test again, cos im still feeling nausea, n headache.,

I missed 3months of my pd I'm haveing pain in my neck and my right tube could that be a sign of a ept Pregnecy 

 

I'm on the depo shot and ive been having sharp pains where my ovaries should be, been really restless at night and i took a pregnancy test, but it was negative. Any suggestions?
