You do not need a cervix to fall pregnant, merely to carry safely. Your cervix closes once you're pregnant so you can carry the baby safely. If you have no cervix (I do not due to previously having cervical cancer), you can conceive, and there are ways to carry, you can have a stitch put in and do a lot of bed rest, the stitch will be removed a couple weeks before you are supposed to deliver. As long as your ovaries are producing eggs, and your uterus is healthy you can conceive perfectly fine without a cervix, it's just a difficult pregnancy.
