i am 18 years old, ive been dating my boyfriend for a year now, and ive had irregular periods my whole life. ive recently had to tell my mom that me and my boyfriend were having sex. that was so difficult, cause it seems like shes mad at me, anyway. my question is i havent had my period in over 2 months, ive had this happen before, but i just hope to god im not pregnant. hes the first one ive ever had sex with, and im his first. i dont know what i would do if i was pregnant. we have had some sex without protection, but very little. we both get nervous when we dont use one. i took a pregnancy test, just somethig you would get at walgreens, and it came out negative. me and my friend are going to go get me birth control. but i just wanted to know some insight before i went in, i just hope im not pregnant. its hard to find this out though, with my cycle.

You may possibly be pregnant. You need to try to remember the dates that you and your boyfriend had unprotected sex. This could really help in trying to figure out if you're pregnant. You also could just be at one of those times when your period skips a couple of months. I started having periods in the sixth grade and I'm now in college and they are still irregular. When you go in to get birth control, the doctor or nurse will ask if there is any way you could be pregnant. Make sure you say yes and request that they give you a pregnancy test. Hope I've helped!!
