Like everyone else here, I had been experiencing a non stop bleeding. I am 23 years old. It's been going on for over two years now. I first noticed it back in Dec of 2016. Actually I had been irregular ever since I started having my period. There are times that I won't have period for 2 months or 3, sometimes and I think the longest is 10 months. It's always been like that so it doesn't bother me anymore if when my period will come or not.

But on that date, I had noticed that for almost 2 months my period hasn't completely stop. There are days that it's only a drop and there are days that it is heavy. But one thing's for sure, it's consistent and hasn't completely stop.

Ofcourse it got me worried, I am just 20 that time, I have no idea what's gotten in to me. I researched about it and found some possible cause like cancer, std's and such. But how can I get those? I don't have any experience with any man. Haven't been involve with any intercorse, so what could it be?

I'm afraid to tell anyone about my condition, so as to consult a doctor. So I let it pass and continue my life. Over two yeard after, here I am, still having this abnormal bleeding.

It gives me such a hard time especially now that I'm working. There are days that it won't bother me that much because of a small discharge, but in a days like this, I can help but get depressed and emotional. I can barely function in my work. I wanted to consult a doctor but I am really terrified.

Hey there I know having an issue with your periods or any reproductive concerns can be very scary and difficult to talk about however if you have been bleeding for this long you really need to see someone. It could be that your hormones that control your menstewtion are out of balance or you could have a tumor somewhere (not necessarily cancer) if you are not at all sexually active you shouldn’t have to worry about STds. We as doctors are use to seeing people with all types of questions or concerns and issues so you won’t surprise us ..:: so don’t worry about seeing a doctor the important thing is that you get things figured out so you can get better
