I have news for all of you. The only sickness is you perpetuating this disgusting, emotionally, mentally and physically abusive myth. Stop making your female children something they are not. Let them grow and experience life without the horrible guilt your religions give them. You all make me feel queasy and horribly sad to know that you actually think this kind of thing is good for your children. Sex is normal, part of our human nature and is infinitely great. Human bodies are beautiful and their self worth and emotional health should be encouraged and supported. You force them to believe what they experience and feel should be shameful and heap loads of guilt on their fragile emotionally and physically immature minds. Causing lifelong damage and perpetuating unsubstantiated and patently false ideas. Purity? Seriously, stop this madness.

There was a mentally retarded 17 year old girl recently baptized during the church service, who has the mental capacity of a three year old.She is in diapers 24/7 and her parents had her dressed as an infant in a white kneelength baptism gown and bonnet with white tights and booties. She had her cloth diapers and babyprint rubberpants on under her tights and looked quite cute! She was acting like a typical three year old. After the service,i was in the womens room and her mom came in with her and had her lay on the changing table and took her wet cloth diapers off of her and put a size 8 pampers on her, then pulled the rubberpants and tights back up and they left.

I don't know what else to say other than i have talked to some catholic girlswho baptized in their teens and they told me that they had to wear the poofy white dresses and bonnets with the undershirt, diaper, plastic pants lace socks and white shoes! These girls weren't lying and knew exactly what they were talking about! So it is your choice whether you believe it or not!

It is a girls right and privledge to wear white for whatever occassion she wants to whether she is a virgin or not.Just because she made mistake and lost her virginity, she should not be denied the right to wear white. For a non virgin teen girl to wear the white dress and bonnet for her baptism or the white dress and veil for her First Communion or Confirmation shows that she is repennting for her sin and that she wants to be accepted by God.I know of three teen girls who lost their virginity at 15 and were baptized at Easter vigil at age 16 and wore the traditional white, poofy, short sleeve, top of the knees baptism dress with the matching bonnet, lace anklets and white mary jane shoes and they each had the cloth diaper, rubberpants and tee shirt under their dresses. They were very sincere in wanting to be forgiven for their sin and were symbolic of starting over. They made their First Holy Communions a year later at 17 and wore the communion dress and veil with their baptism diaper, rubberpants and tee shirt under their dresses.

I feel its ok for non-virgin teen girls to wear a white dress for either baptism, first communion or confirmation, but the cloth diaper and rubberpants should not be worn by them as they are not pure like a baby! Only virgin teen girls should wear the cloth diaper and rubberpants and under shirt under their white dresses!

Agree, not to tell the world. The boy also lost his virginity. I sure she plays a role in it too. Our society tells it all the males who push girls into sex and the females had nothing to do with it. One of the downfalls of boys is they do as their mother says and when they start a relationship with a girl that he does as she says. One of the reasons why preteens and teens turn to sex because they are not having other physical needs met in their life. That why hugs, cuddles, massages play a significant role in a teen's life. The baptism does not have to be in white - when John baptism that people came as they were. When Jesus baptism, he had a white role, but those who needed to b baptism did not come in white. They all came in different colors. I am not into a religious tradition, and it does not mean anything to Jesus. A ritual is a church guarding in what you wear and what you will do. When traditional goes against God's word, it does not hold to it. Church of Crist's tell males they can not wear short pants. I am a full spirit Christian who believes in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I do not get hook up with worldly religious tradition. The tradition in churches causes drama among Christian. Some think you can not swim in a pool with the opposite sex. That is their problem, and they need to stop attacking those who do.

I am a guy with a twin sister. We were born premature and our parents never baptized us when we were infants. When we were 14,our parents finially had us baptized at sunday morning mass.I remember taking a shower, then putting on my white suit and tie and sitting on the couch.Sis then took a bath and after she was done, she went into her room where mom and dad were waiting and the door was closed.A while later, mom and dad brought sis out and she was wearing a white, puffy, top of the knees, short sleeve flowergirl dress with a flower crown with ribbons down the back on her head and had white lace socks and white patent leather shoes on.Mom lifted up the front of sis's dress and showed me the cloth diaper and plastic pants she had on and told me that i wasnt to tease her or make fun of her and if i did,i would be in serious trouble! It was cute seeing sis in her white puffy dress and knowing she had a diaper and plastic pants on under it and was somewhat like a baby! For our baptisms,i bent over to get the water on my head, while mom picked sis up and held her to recieve the water. After our party was over later that afternoon, sis took her dress off and wore a babydoll top with her diaper and plastic pants untill bedtime.

I feel it is a girls right and privlege to wear white whether she is virgin or not! As long as she is sincere and really wants to atone for her mistake, then wearing white for baptism,First Communion and confirmation is ok.I myself am not catholic, but i have several friends who are and two of them were baptized when they were 16 and not virgins. They both wore the poofy, white, sleeveless, top of the knees baptism dress with a bonnet, white tights and white mary jane style shoes and each of them had a size 8 pampers diaper with the plastic pants over it under their tights with a camisole as their top. Both of them looked very cute and adorable! No one knew that they were not virgins! Some of my other catholic friends wore white dresses and veils for their Confirmation and they were not virgins either!

Our daughter was baptized at 15 and was virgin, but she lost her virginitythe same day!She was in the baptism class with the other preteens and teens and her and all of the girls wore the traditional, white, short sleeve, knee length, poofy white dresses and bonnets with the lace socks and white mary jane shoes and had the cloth diaper, rubberpants and tee shirt under their dresses. That sunday afternoon, after her party, she went to her boyfriends house, who was 16,and home alone. She told me they started kissing, then he put his hand under her baptism dress and felt her diaper and rubberpants and got very aroused! She then told me he unzipped her dress and pulled it off of her and pushed her to her knees and made her give him oral sex! Then she said that after the oral sex,he took her to his room and took off her rubberpants and diaper and took her virginity! The husband and i were so infuriated that she could do something like that after her baptism, and it didnt seem to bother her!

What is the purpose of the rubber pants and diaper, humiliation? Who's going to see them? Oh yeah, that boy who raped her!!!!!
She WAS RAPED. You are her parents. DO something.
Where I live it would be illegal for you NOT to report that whether she likes it or not. She is a minor and below the age of consent in most states, as her guardians you are charged with her protection.
