Hi there

Losing virginity is not a crime. You don't need to announce it to the world either. It is a secret between you, your daughter and her sexual partner. However to inform your parish and be honest with the Lord. Good luck

Why should she feel guilty? Where does it say you have to be a virgin to be baptized? If white is the uniform for the ceremony then she should wear white. We quit making people wear scarlet letters a long time ago. She's free to wear whatever color she wants.

Our daughter wore the whole outfit for her baptism and looked very cute and infant like for the ceremony! Now she will be making her first communion in may and has to wear the under shirt, diaper, plastic pants and tights with her communion dress.

I am sorry, but there are parishes that do require the girls to wear the diaper and plastic pants under their white baptism dresses. At some parishes it is a tradition for the girls to wear them.I know of three parishes that require the diaper and plastic pants under the girls communion dresses,So it is not nonsense,it is real!

Our daughter is 16 and non-virgin and she was baptized this past easter sunday mass and like all the other girls baptized with her, wore the traditional, white gown and matching bonnet with tights and white shoes and had a tee shirt on with a disposable diaper and plastic pants under her tights. No one knew that she wasnt a virgin and she still entered gods kingdom.

Actually in most countries to lose your virginity at 14 IS a crime - but the criminal is the other party.

Insofar as I understand the tenets of the myth system if she has remained unBAPTISED (as distinct from unCONFIRMED) until 15 she has for all this time been "in a state of original sin"; but this sin; together will all subsequent sins, will be forgiven in Baptism.

Our daughter was baptized at 16 and a non-virgin at easter vigil and she insisted on wearing the traditional, white ankle length gown with matching bonnet, lace anklet and white shoes and bought a package of cloth diapers and wore them under the gown with toddler size rubberpants over them and a tee shirt as her top.It was all her own doing and she wanted to sort of make up for the fact that she had made a mistake by losing her virginity.

Our daughter is 15 and being baptized next month at Easter vigil and is virgin and is going to wear a white, infant style, knee length gown with a matching bonnet, white tights and white 'mary jane' shoes. She will have a 10 ply thick cloth diaper with white adult size rubberpants over it under her tights with a tee shirt as her top. This is the standard Easter vigil baptism outfit worn by all the preteen and teen girls at our parish. The girls are considered babies for their baptism and are baptized as regular babies.

This sounds more like a skit for the voyeurs who are watching than a ritual for her.

Our daughter and dad went to a purity ball when the daughter was 14.I did her in a white, sleeveless, ankle length dress with a 3/4 crinoline under it and a flowered headwreath. She had white tights and i did a cloth diaper and plastic pants under the tights to add to her purity. She was fine with the diaper and plastic pants under her tights and the next day told me that she talked to a few other girls and some told her that they also had a diaper and plastic pants under their dresses also.

Our daughter was 16 and non-virgin when she was baptized at Easter vigil and like all the other preteen and teen girls, she wore the traditional white, poofy, top of the knees, baptism dress with the matching bonnet, lace anklets and white mary jane shoes and had the cloth baptismal diaper and rubberpants and tee shirt under her dress. No one knew, except dad and i,that she wasnt a virgin and it was no big deal! For her their First Communion a month later, all of the girls wore the traditional communion dress and veil with lace anklets and the white shoes and all of them, including the daughter, wore their baptism diaper, rubberpants and undershirt under their communion dresses.
