I had rhinoplasty on June 11, 2009. I had a small bump taken off, it straightened slightly and a graft on the tip. The tip of my nose looks like a Christmas bulb. The doctors nurse called me today because she knew I was really upset when the stitches and cast came off on the 16th. She was telling me that the swelling will go down significantly in the next 3 weeks to 6 months. I sure hope so because I loved my nose before compared to now. I sure hope week 2 goes better in the healing process. I still have bruising under my eyes......any suggestions to help with that?

Hi there, I am hoping that your swelling has gone down since you last posted this! If you are still having difficulty with swelling or anything like that, I would recommend a cold compress. How are things going? Are your eyes still puffy and is your nose still as you describe it like a Christmas bulb? let us know!
