I am exactly one week post-op and I'd say I had it pretty easy as far is swelling/bruising goes. I had some slight bruising under my eyes which is almost gone now, and my swelling has gone down to the extent that I can go out and I look "normal".
I can tell that the tip of my nose is swollen a bit and will probably shrink a bit, but I'm very upset about the bridge of my nose. It appears to be the same height and width that it was before. I keep feeling around the area, and the puffy feeling seems minimal. I'm wondering, since I recovered from the bruising and overall facial swelling so easily, if this is basically what my nose is going to look like. It's almost exactly the same as it was pre-op and I'm very upset that I went through such a procedure only to end up with the same nose.
