Hello. I was feeling a little sick, so I went to a doctor. He ordered a blood test since I have a temperature for more than 4 days. I looked at my result, but I am not sure about it. It seems that my leukocytes are low, but lymphocytes are higher than usual. What does this mean? I would appreciate all your answers.
Hello. Leukocytes are also known as white blood cells. There are 5 types of leukocytes. Those are: neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils, monocytes and lymphocytes. Your blood test show that you have a viral infection. It is characteristic – low leukocytes in general, but high lymphocytes. You should go to your doctor. He will review your results in the best way. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
I am getting an anemic test done tomorrow. Will the test result show that I am pregnant?
I got my written blood results today and I'm not sure if I need to be worried. High White Blood CT 16.4 K/cumm, High Hematocrit 45.9 %, High Absolute Neutrophils 7.87 K/cumm, High Absolute Lymphocytes 7.54 K/cumm.
What do you think?
