Just had the Nova Sure procedure 4 days ago. I had it done in the surgery center and general anesthesia was used. When I woke up in recovery, the nurse gave me a percocet. I went home about an hour later. I was told to lay down with a heating pad and hours later I would start getting cramping and to take motrin. Well the minute I left the surgery center I had massive cramps that the percocet did not even touch. The cramps were awful. I laid down with a heating pad and took a motrin the minute I got home. Still major cramping. Felt like I was gonna keel over. I took a hot shower and let the water hit my stomach. I laid back down with the heating pad again and the cramps got lighter. By about 6pm...My cramps were completely gone. I had very little spotting of blood that day. I was told I would have discharge which was normal that could last for 3 to 4 weeks. I had it the day after only. I have had zero isdues for two days so far...no bleeding or discharge. Everyone is obviously different but this by far was THE BEST thing I could have done. Highly recommend this procedure to anyone thinking about it.
