I am a 60 year old male and remain quit active during the day. However, during the night, my shoulders, arms, hands a fingers get cold and numb and tingling. This only happens when I'm laying down, not during the day. This prevents me from sleeping big time. I had quad bi-pass in 2013. What could this be?

I have something quite similar. My right shoulder, all the way to my fingers often gets numb and achy. I definitely know that at night while we are laying still, we are getting less blood flow circulating to these areas, and this is why injuries often feel worse through the night. I am pretty sure that mine is caused from a pinched occipital nerve in my neck (which I do have). It could also be nerve related for you. If it gets worse for you, I would recommend trying to see a neurologist. I'm not positive that is what it is for me, so any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
