You had this facial odor for a "few years" and within 2 days after taking milk thistle, the odor just magically disapeared you say? Right...I don't believe you.

do you have to use sugarcane or is xylitol okay? what other kinds of sweeteners can I use other than the saccharine? i actually hadn't noticed this smell until i started back to using "Noxzema", it's like a cold cream cleanser. I think it is clogging my pores. When I push on my nose, white stuff comes out and it smells horrible!!

Okay, I have had this problem for years and, I shower up to 5 times a day, I have always been like that. In the interest of not making this a very long story, I will cut to the chase. The problem is a toxin, with me it's sugar and, I would bet that with most of you it's also sugar. I am stink free as a result of cutting out sugar and replacing it with sugarcane as a sweetener. I had that horrible smell on my nose for years and, I have to say that it made me VERY depressed at times. So, my advice would be to take the Milk Thistle for sure (get the liquid, NOT capsules... they suck) and take it as it is directed for 3 months (this will be amazing for not just your liver) and, stop eating sugar. Also, look up 'Demodex' and see it it applies.

I use Agave and Sugarcane. Noxema is no good for you, along with fake sweeteners. Clear your liver with Milk Thistle and see if that helps; if not, you may have Candida; which can be managed. Hope this helps.

I seem to have the same problem - think its genetical. I'll try thistle milk. but do any of you suffer from bad breadth as well. This is why I think its linked to the liver. I think the odour issue is directly linked with the livers inability to get rid of toxins.

Wow, I am happy to find that I am not alone in my oily stinky face! Several years ago I started getting oily on my face, then maybe 2 or 3 years ago I started to notice a rancid smell. It didn't take too long to figure out that the 1 constant component whenever and wherever I noticed the smell was "me". I am not a doctor, but like many of you, I figured out that it was the oil on my face. I am so glad to find that there may be an easy solution to the smell and oil situation and now I need to see my doctor to figure out the liver problem as there are liver cancer victims in my family!

I think the problem with me is that I have candida. Milk Thistle will most likely help with the smell, as it did with me but, one has to address the bigger issue; which in my case is candida... probably you too. Sugar seems to make it markedly worse with me... any type of sweetener seems to. A year ago I stayed away from all sweets and the smell disappeared; only to return again when I started eating sweets again. I have a very good diet, I don't eat gluten or fast food, no sulphates, msg... any of that corporate food garbage. I make my own chocolate from scratch but, I'm sure that I have candida. Regardless of what the Milk thistle does for the smell, you are doing something great for your body.

Most likely it did and, most likely it returned, as it did with me.

I too can have bad breath, but it seems to only happen when I have anything sweet. I am sure that I have candida.

It's germs that cause bad odour, try applying strong mouth wash (i.e. Listerine) on your skin, leave it over night then see the result. Good luck
