I have onychomycosis on my fingernails. I have been given pulse treatment of ketoconazole for 3 months and topical econazole cream 3 times daily. Its been more than 6 months since my 1st tx, and things doesnt get any better. Could it be that ketoconazole isnt a good choice of tx or should the GP prolong my treatment? My panel clinic doesnt have itraconazole, so i was prescribed with ketoconazole instead. Please advice. Thanx.
