Hello, I could use some help. I had these bumps on my hands several weeks ago, so I went to see my doctor. He diagnosed me with pomphlox and gave me some steroid based ointments but it did not help, actually it only made it worse. Bumps turned into blisters, I even got one on my foot. What am I to do now?

The answer is very simple. Go to a dermatologist. He should now what is wrong with you. I know of two possibilities. If it is not pomphlox, then it could be psoriasis or some sort or allergy. Psoriasis could be caused by stress you know, think about your life in past few months, was it more stressful than usual? For allergy, you must undergo some tests for doctors to determine what substance you are allergic on.

I went to my GP because I had these blisters and bumps on the bottom of my feet. My GP, who is himself a Dermatologist, diagnosed the condition as Pomphlox and gave me a prescription for a steroid cream called Dermovate. I have been using this for 2 weeks, and my skin has cleared. My GP is still keeping an eye on me every week, but "Fingers crossed" it is clearing!

Out of the blue i developed small itchy blisters on my feet and hands. It was diagnosed as pomphlox and i was given dermovate ointment. That helps for a few days but the blisters return.Greasy creams bring out larger blisters. There doesnt appear to be a cure, ive had it for 3 years now and it shows no sign of leaving.
