I would say oranges would be good for a half time snack. Oranges will supply vitamin C and sugar. The sugar can be quickly broken down in the Kreb cycle to make ATP the energy currency of the cell. This should supply you with all the energy you to get back to the game. You might consider taking in a protein shake as well to help you build lean muscle. I drink protein shakes ever day and I take in several different of fruit a day as well. Oranges, bananas, pineapple and berries.
