I’m 65 years old and have osteporosis. I got my teriparatide shot last week. I had used calcitonine and raloxifen before, but bone loss was intensive. I can’t exercise because I felt dizzy after the parathyroid shot. I feel very uncomfortable in the street and I have fear of walking alone. I hope this teriparatide would be effective. Do you have any information on it? Thanks.

My mother was on teriparatrine for about 2 years. This drug stimulates new bone formation. She was at very high risk of fracture and also had problems with going alone outdoors. Teriparatrine reduces risk of fractures, but may cause dizziness and nausea. I hope you’ll feel better after the treatment. Bye.
