Okay I went to the doctor at the health services at the university I am attending to get birth control. I have just about finished the pack (just placebos now) so started taking them the first of January and noticed that they expired 01/2006 so expired a year ago. I'm wondering if its okay to have taken them since they are old?

Well, if they expired so long ago, the active ingredients were degraded, and you would have lost some protection-if not all.
Did you have a period? This is usually a pretty good sign of NO pregnancy.
