over done it by masturbating 3-5 times a day to porn. i never masturbated without it really.
for the past couple of months ive noticed a weaker erection. it will reach 80% of it size but lack in firmness. and also wont last as long. i really havent done much to address the problem until i realized i dont get morning woods now very often. if i do maybe once or twice a weak they are like 50%.
so i was wondering has anyone dealt with this before? did i ruin myself for the rest of my life?
i did not masturbate yesterday and will not for the next month. im hoping this will increase my sex drive and return erections.
what do you guys think? any help will be greatly appreciated. i dont want to take viagra or anything that creates another dependency.

Porn is no substitute for a girlfriend, a flesh and blood human being who can interact with you not just physically, but emotionally. What you have is a form of obsessive compulsive disorder gone to the extreme. Masturbating 3-5 times a day to porn is really too much. When you have depleted your load (sperm and semen), you body will tell you that it is no longer necessary to have an erection. Yes, abstaining from masturbation for a while will help you recover. You need to snap out of this and get back to the real world. Find yourself a job, have a social life, find yourself a girlfriend or at least go on dates. I wish you the best.

Hey guys. I would like to know, when did this habit of yours appear at first? I think you should stop masturbating in that amounts. Three to five times a day is too much for any man, and therefore, you should try and minimize it. Start by taking things slow, first try masturbating once a day, then five times a week, then three, and I suggest you keep it on two to three times a week because some sources claim that it is healthiest amount of masturbation. But what you're doing right now is considered overmasturbation by far.

If you've got a weaker erection, there's a possibility that it's related to physical activity as well. Do you go to the gym all that often? I think that might be causing part of the problem as well. Can you tell me if that's the case?

no i dont go to gym. im starting to run a mile now a few times a week and also have weights at home. im not out if shape. 5'11 150lbs. i have the desire for sex but just wont go up. it feels like my body isnt getting enough bloodflow to that part. or is somehow constricted. it sucks cause just got the best gf in the world.
its so stressful because your always thinking about it. i find myself checking a few times throught the day to see how its doing. i have no desire to masturbate or watch porn. the reason why i got into so hard was because i had been smoking weed the past year and when your high masturbating its very intense. i slowly got sucked into it.
im hoping if i just leave it alone there long enough, excercise, and eat healthy it'll return. plus the stress from this is killing me. im gonna go to the doctor and request more tests. im also considering accupuncture/herbalist. at least itll get me through the recovery period. i just cant believe this is happening.

Yes, I have this problem also. I now have problems getting erections with real women. We've developed a sort of dependency on porn by training our minds to become aroused by overstimulating images. I've been researching this for many months and its obvious that porn is causing all of the the sexual dysfunction you see people complaining about. There's young 18 year old guys with erection issues claiming they have "low testosterone" or that they are stressed out, when the issue is actually adapting their brains to become aroused by extreme and provocative pornographic images and videos rather than normal women.
When watching porn we're conditioning our minds to watching new, enticing images of thousands of different of women and sexual situations which gives the brain a sort of "high", like a drug. Your brain is getting a rush of the chemical dopamine, which is produced in the brain in anticipation of exciting and stimulating situations, like sex (dopamine has a myriad of other functions as well that may or may not be related). After a prolonged period of watching porn, your brain cannot continue to become aroused at the same level. Your sexual response begins to become desensitized.
So, most likely you have no physical diseases or disorders causing the weak erections. The cause is porn.
However, the issue is not entirely "psychological". You can't just "snap out of it". Your mind needs a permanent break from porn and needs to be retrained to regular sex. You need to quit porn, try to reduce masturbation as much as possible, and use real sex with women as your only sexual outlet. In this way, you can retrain your mind, slowly over time, to get used to normal "regular" sex with women. This is not simple and can be frustrating. You will likely begin to obsess over the entire issue and this only fuels your desire to watch more porn (if you've grown addicted) and/or diminshes your ability to perform during sex.
But don't try to "fight" off or suppress sexual urges. They are normal, especially if you are a man. The sexual energy and urges just need to be re-focused toward real women.

Porn can be an addiction and that is somethin gyou do want to be aware of. That is probably the issue, although you may want ot make sure there is no physical cause. YOu might have injured yoruself as well. Can you let me know if you ever had an accident?
