I too had a fullhysterectomy 5 months ago for a huge mass that covered my uterus and was conected to my overies....also had fibroid tumors/cyists as they called them. They were going to try to do a pelvic incision but wound up cutting my whole tummy open from my navel down. 8 inch incision......I'm 52 had the surgery the end of April....now having pain in my back that follows around to the front pelic area and down to my rectom....this totally sucks....I feel nausous and have a burning feeling throughout the day......I hate to be gross but .It hurts the worse when I feel gas traveling down and once it hits a spot down there i get this terrible buckle over pain for a few seconds......Just wish this would all go away...talked to my doctor who is female, she told me it's going to take time but i think after 5 months this shouldn't be happening.....They left a piece of my cervices in tacked about the size of a thumb nail.....said it helps with keeping things in place like intestines bladder and having sex......at this rate and the way i feel SEX is out...my poor husband God Bless him. He is the only one that sympathizes with me at this point......we ALL need help with this and a real answer. Oh I had the pain right now is why i'm not cuddled up in bed sleeping right now...Pain, burning pain, pain in my back that feels like the worst gas pains EVER.....

Kathy, I read your post and can't tell you how much I can relate. I am 7 months out and my stomach aches all day every day. I feel hollow inside and can't explain the emptiness. I pray for you and hope you are feeling better!

Hi ladies, I'm 35. Since I was 14, I have had endometriosis . And had 7 surgery. I've had a full hysterectomy 2 years ago and now I'm having worst problems, cist , bowl , bladder , sick to my stomach and can't eat much. My wait is 102. Before I had my hysterectomy I wanted to have a baby so at the age of 28 my Dr sent me throw menopause with this med called Lupron, it's a shot you get every 3mo. And it takes away most of the Endo. I had 4mo before the Endo comes back to have a baby. I got pregnant and was having twins. That was my dream come true. I lost one when I was 10 weeks pregnant and carried the other full term. I had a baby boy. He is now 5 years old. Now I'm going back to see my Dr Monday to get my ultrasound results, but when I was getting my ultrasound done she keeps saying me if I had my right ovary, I told her no I don't have any thing down there anymore. Then she ask me if I have bowl problems, I said yes. So to all you ladies please don't wait for the pain to get worse, go see a GYN and get some thing done because it can get inside your organs and cause serious problems. On my 6 surgery my intestines was tangled around on my female organs including my bladder. I'll let you know how my appointment goes Monday. Thanks for listening. God bless you all.

I had a total hysterectomy still have ovaries 5 weeks ago. Was doing great. Went to obgyn 5 wks and 1 day(Wed.). Gave ok to go to work next week. Next day had low fever swelling in groin and where top of vagina where cervix was. Maybe stiches where messed with during exam or maybe infected. Pain between pubic bone and hip. When I raised knee felt like there was a lump in between them was painful (both sides right a bit more intense). Having to wait (dr not in on Fri.) 3 days to see Dr. I'm walking in Monday (tomorrow). In enough pain to go to ER if she doesnt figure it out. Told work I can start work, now I have to tell them to wait some more. You're the only one that has said something similar to my symptoms. Hope things go well for us. Will try to respond to this after I have results. Just a shame almost had a perfect hysterectomy and now this.

I too went through the same thing. Im 32 and was diagnosed with cervical cancer. The remedy was a laproscopic hysterectomy. I had mine done in May of 2014. Right now, i am experiencing THE MOST GOD AWFUL cramps and I'm not sure why. It feels like menstrual cramps. No idea why this is happening...

Your vaginal opening that lead to the cervix / uterus had to be closed up. My doc explained all of that to me : )

I had a doctor explain to me that your ovaries and uterus hold up your bladder etc. Now that that stuff is gone, they have to create a wall there. If that makes any sense.
