I have an issue when I climax, my left calf cramps, my solution is when this happens I eat a can of raisins and it quits for a month or two, I believe it's connected to my edema (fluid retention and it causes loss of magnesium) if you have swelling feet legs or ackles you may also have it, just eat raisens is my solution.

The pain I experience is in both upper thighs, from my groin to about half way down the thigh. There is also some pain in those muscles in the abdomen which actually trigger the orgasm, as I can feel each of them hurting as orgasm occurs. This experience is very unpleasant and makes any type of orgasm-producing sex less than appealing to me. I do think, though, that this disfunction has to do with the fact that I have Inflammatory Arthritis (and as a great bonus, also Fibromyalgia).

Any kind of work which makes use of my body's musculature will trigger a similar type of pain anywhere in my body, but this pain isn't as intense as the orgasmic pain and it tends to last longer in a dull, 'bruised' kind of way. The orgasmic pain rapidly dissipates after orgasm, but quite honestly I have lost interest in sex - weighing it up, the pain isn't worth the orgasm! I'm nearly 70 now, so what the hey? No one is going to want some broken down specimen of manhood anyway!

I actually have a sensation in my left leg. But it feels good. It's an added bonus to the orgasm. I don't understand why it is happening but it led me here.

I am 36 years old and have disc and nerve issues in my lumbar spine and have had them for 8 years. Within the last 6 months or so I have started to experience an VERY inntense burning sensation down the front of both thighs that begins just prior to ejaculation and lasts until its ended and will then fade away leaving a dull glow deep inside my legs. I do not know if this is related to my back opriblems or is a sign of something else. If anyone else has a similar situation I would like to know if there is another cause aside from nerve pain which is the only explanation I have heard at this time

When you ejaculate too often it will happen. You guys need to calm down give yourself a week of rest and recovery and eat. Get some power back and you guys should be okay for more action.

Guys, try hydrating yourselves. I've had that problem when I was younger (I am 57 now). As long as I drink enough water I am fine. I know it sounds like too simple a solution but it worked for me.

Constant re-hydration is indeed an excellent tip. Most of us are not properly hydrated at any time of the day or night. It's important to note that water alone is not enough to rehydrate - it needs a small amount of sea-salt (only sea salt, it has the correct minerals for this application). Two litres of water needs half a teaspoonful of sea salt for it to rehydrate effectively.

As regards the guest previous to last suggesting that too much sex is the cause of these problems, I'm afraid this is complete nonsense. Speaking for myself, I orgasm fewer times than once a MONTH. The reasons for these painful orgasms is more complicated than how frequently one has sex. I am sure the post was meant to help, however, so thank you, though, for your input.

I have told several doctors about this to no avail.
When I orgasm I get extremely sharp pain in my thigh which often
radiates up into my right hip and recently has gone higher into the
lower abdomen.
There is absolutely no pain in my penis, scrotum or groin..
Anyone having any insight to this problem will be your new
best friend for life.

Out of all the posts I've read in this thread yours is the most similar to mine.
Around 7 years ago I suffered a trauma and after this developed nerve issues. After some tracing my symptoms finally led me to late Neuro Lyme Disease symptoms. I tested positive at iGeneX and took treatment.
My leg issues have only really started in the last two years but are getting worse. They are just how you describe them. It's as if the nerve that controls the ejaculatory muscles as become short circuited to the thigh nerves - like two wires carrying a signal separately are now touching. In my case it could be that the myelin sheath is still being damaged by the borrelia - who knows - more research is needed.
